TORONTO (from Queen’s Gaels) – Jesse Graham had a career-high 26 points as the Queen’s Gaels cruised to an easy 93-68 road win over the York Lions Friday night.
Graham, from Kingston, Ontario, scored 10 points in the first quarter, which ended with the Gaels in command with a 25-9 lead and well on their way to improving their OUA men’s basketball record to 11-8. The Lions fell to 2-17.
Queen’s led 49-32 at halftime and 66-46 after three quarters. Tanner Graham with 13 points and Quinton Gray (Richmond Hill, ON) with 12 also scored in double digits for Queen’s. Tanner Graham led all rebounders on the Gaels with nine, one more than Mike Shoveller (Arnprior, ON).
Gianmarco Luciani with 14 points and Ricky Hudson with 12 were the top scorers for the Lions.
The Gaels are back on their home court to take on the Toronto Varsity Blues on Feb. 9 at 8 pm EST in the ARC.
