Blazers beat Rebels for another road win

RED DEER, Alta. (from Kamloops Blazers) – The Kamloops Blazers won their second game in as many nights with a 3-1 road win against the Red Deer Rebels on Saturday night.

Josh Tarzwell of the Rebels had the game’s first goal, but the Blazers replied with two goals in the second period.

Jackson Shepard and Travis Walton each scored to give the Blazers a 2-1 lead through two periods.

Orrin Centazzo added a goal in the third period to help the Blazers to a 3-1 win.

Dylan Ferguson had a great outing in goal with 36 saves and was named the game’s first star.

Riley Lamb stopped 23 of 26 shots and took the loss for the Rebels.

The Blazers will be in Edmonton Sunday to finish the weekend with their third game in three nights.
